2020 Presidential Election

I don't get political often, and I'm not even going to talk about policies, stances, or candidates today, at least not really. There's a fantastic website called ISideWith.com that has you fill out a survey and shows you which candidates you relate to most based on your fundamental beliefs on most of the hot topics.

Politics is overwhelming for many of us, including myself, but may this site kickstart your brain into active thinking and make your question whatever rumors and stances are being blasted on Instagram.

Obviously, with our two-party system, a vote for a third party is (1) useless and (2) essentially a vote for the other party, it's a bit 'pointless' to do this quiz for anything other than satiating your curiosity.

The survey covers your stances on public transportation, minimum wage, illegal immigration rights, climate change, military spending, gun laws, prisons, and more. They provide standard 'yes' or 'no' answers and allow you to fill in your own solutions or look at answers & stances from others that have written theirs in.

Given that we're so close to the election, we all probably know who we're voting for already, but I thought it was a great exercise to thoroughly think of where I stand.

VOTE! VOTE! VOTE!

If you haven't already, register to vote! The deadlines for registration are different in each state. You can check what your deadline is here. For anything else, hopefully, I've covered it with the links below.

Keeping A Sustainable Kitchen

Keeping A Sustainable Kitchen

Today I’ll be taking Bon Appétit’s rules and changing them to suit a small-scale home kitchen.
