Today I’ll be taking Bon Appétit’s rules and changing them to suit a small-scale home kitchen. It’s so exciting to see corporate companies making big changes, and I hope it serves as an inspiration to the other big wigs and to us at home. The best part about it all is that we’re all probably well on our way to implementing all of these practices.

Going ‘zero waste’ is an attempt to reduce an individual’s trash and waste through reducing our consumption and rethinking the way we live. Along with the age-old “reduce, reuse, recycle” mantra, we can also refuse, repair, and rethink items.
